goddu taavu biduka

In this poem Vemana explains the futility of asking the help of Mean fellows. The poem is as follows Goddutaavu biduka kunda gompoina Palla nudadannu paala needu Lobhivaani naduga laabhambu ledayaa Viswadaabhi raama vinura vema! If we go near a cow which cant give milk, however we try we cant get milk. In addition to it it will get irritated and move its legs violently as a result of which if we are not alert we may fall and may lose our teeth as well.Similarly if we go to a miser for help we get nothing but only strain and humiliation. In this context, we can remember Shylocks nature in demanding pound of flesh in return for his monetary help.
